Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Transmission Planning Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Lead utility stability studies using PSS E, including transient and voltage stability analyses
Define study scopes and present findings to utility stakeholders
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and develop training materials

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) or equivalent; MSEE (Power Systems) preferred
7+ years of power system studies experience, with 5+ years leading stability studies
Proficiency in PSS E steady-state and dynamics
Experience with ISO/Utility interconnection processes and study methodologies
Python proficiency for PSS E automation preferred
