Lead UX Researcher

Job Summary

Leading mixed-methods research efforts, the full-time remote Lead UX Researcher will provide insights to inform product decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior researchers while focusing on understanding user needs within the Wikimedia projects.

Key responsibilities

• Leading qualitative and quantitative UX research studies to inform product teams
• Proactively identifying and defining strategic research projects, gaining stakeholder buy-in
• Communicating research findings and recommendations effectively to various stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience conducting UX research within a product organization
• Master's or PhD degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction or Psychology
• Deep expertise in qualitative research methods and ability to conduct quantitative research end-to-end
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with product teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
