Lead Vulnerability Commander

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end response to critical vulnerabilities, the full-time Lead Vulnerability Commander will engage engineering teams, track SLAs, and drive remediation efforts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage critical vulnerability responses by coordinating fixes and driving them to closure
• Brief engineering teams on required fixes and track progress against SLAs, escalating risks as necessary
• Conduct retrospectives to identify systemic issues and improve processes and tooling in collaboration with stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in vulnerability management, incident response, or security operations
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-team remediation under tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of vulnerability severity and exploitability
• Experience working directly with engineering teams to drive fixes to completion
• Ability to effectively communicate risk and status to leadership
