Lead Web Developer
Job Summary
Leading a team in a full-time capacity, the Lead Web Developer will direct technical execution for a Federal web modernization program, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver secure and accessible digital products.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, and release of website enhancements, custom modules, and backend integrations
- Break down business requirements into technical tasks and guide developers in best practices and standards
- Coordinate with UX and content teams to implement interactive functionalities and support CI/CD processes
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Drupal or similar WCMS-based websites and web applications
- Strong skills in PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development practices
- Experience with Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies and user story development
- Working knowledge of Section 508/WCAG standards and Federal web compliance
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD processes
