Lead Wind Hub Technician

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Lead Wind Hub Technician will manage turbine operations, maintenance, and customer service while collaborating with the Hub Manager to ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance and repair tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment of wind turbine generators
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on variable pitch and speed turbines
• Document all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures and respond to the remote operations center as needed

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of internal work experience as a Wind Technician or 4+ years of external electrical and leadership experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to handle repetitive weights of ~50 lbs
• Understanding of electrical schematic drawings, technical manuals, and regulations
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and on-call as required by site needs
