Lead Workday Financials Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic enterprise Finance IT team, the contract-to-hire Lead Workday Financials Engineer will design, build, and deploy advanced integrations and custom solutions within Workday Financial Management, leveraging expertise in coding and technical delivery while working remotely from Columbus, OH.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy advanced Workday integrations using Studio, Orchestrate, and REST/SOAP APIs
• Develop custom solutions and orchestrations in Workday Extend with hands-on coding
• Engineer and support inbound/outbound integrations between Workday Financials and external systems

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday technical development experience
• Expert-level coding in Workday Extend
• Deep proficiency with Workday integrations and APIs (REST/SOAP)
• Demonstrated experience supporting Workday Financial Management (GL, Expense, Source to Pay)
• Strong technical skills with Studio, Orchestrate, XML, JSON, XSLT
