Leadership and Innovation Consultant

Job Summary

To support the Women Leaders in Eye Health initiative, the remote Leadership and Innovation Advisor (Consultant) will design and deliver a mentorship curriculum, facilitate Training-of-Trainers sessions, and bridge the connection between mentorship and funding opportunities for women in eye health over a 7-month consultancy period.

Key responsibilities

• Finalize and deliver a virtual mentorship and leadership curriculum using adult learning methodologies
• Facilitate interactive Training-of-Trainers sessions and provide coaching for participants developing leadership initiatives
• Support the implementation of a merit-based selection process for the Fellowship and Innovations Fund while ensuring coherence between mentorship and funding

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree in public health, international development, education, gender studies, or a related field
• Proven experience delivering leadership or mentorship Training-of-Trainers programs, preferably in low- and middle-income countries
• Experience with capacity-building programs and grant or fellowship mechanisms
• Strong understanding of gender-transformative programming and mentorship methodologies
• Experience facilitating virtual learning and adult education programs
