Job Summary
Fostering a culture of learning and accountability, the full-time Learning and Organizational Development Specialist will deliver onboarding and ongoing training support, shape learning strategies, and oversee the design and execution of impactful development programs in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with the VP, Human Resources to develop and execute NFPA's learning and organizational development strategy
- Create and implement high-impact learning programs that span the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and management training
- Conduct organizational needs assessments to identify skill gaps and align learning priorities with NFPA's strategic goals
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Psychology, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or organizational effectiveness
- Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, ATD CPLP, or CPTD) is ideal
- Demonstrated success in designing and facilitating learning programs for a remote workforce
- Proficient with Learning Management Systems and digital learning tools
