Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Learning Content Editor will ensure the clarity, accuracy, and quality of all written training materials while overseeing editorial reviews and maintaining the department's style guide.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the final editorial reviewer for all training content, ensuring it meets organizational standards for readability and accessibility
- Maintain and implement the Training Product Development style guide, establishing editorial standards for consistency across learning modalities
- Prepare final manuscripts for print production, collaborating with designers and approving print proofs to ensure quality and accuracy
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related field, along with at least four years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience editing instructional, educational, or technical content across multiple formats
- Strong command of grammar and editorial style conventions, such as the Chicago Manual of Style
- Experience preparing manuscripts for print production, including familiarity with InDesign and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.3 AA)
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content
