Learning Experience Designer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Learning Experience Designer, the full-time position will focus on developing high-quality instructional materials for K-12 English Language Arts, including writing lessons, selecting texts, and designing assessments while ensuring adherence to educational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Author and design detailed lessons, activities, and student worksheets based on instructional models
• Identify and vet grade-appropriate texts, ensuring alignment with ELA learning objectives
• Develop formative and summative assessment items and provide editorial feedback on content drafts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Curriculum & Instruction, English, Journalism, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in K-12 curriculum development or instructional design
• Strong knowledge of K-12 ELA pedagogy and effective teaching methods
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a demonstrated ability to produce polished instructional content
• Fluency with AI tools
