Learning Experience Designer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Learning Experience Designer specializing in ELA and Multilingual Learning, this full-time position will focus on designing high-quality instructional materials, developing curriculum scopes and sequences, and creating engaging lessons and assessments for multilingual learners in grades 9-12.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design of ELD scopes and sequences, selecting appropriate texts that align with language and content objectives
• Write and design prototype lessons and assessments that model rigorous instruction for multilingual learners
• Collaborate with the ELA team to integrate ELD supports into standards-aligned content and review the work of external contributors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, TESOL, Curriculum & Instruction, English, or a related field
• A specialized degree, endorsement, or certification related to multilingual learner education or language acquisition
• 3+ years of experience in K-12 curriculum development or instructional design with a focus on multilingual learners
• Strong knowledge of ELD standards and frameworks, as well as multilingual learner pedagogy
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce polished instructional content
