Job Summary
Owning the quality of instructional materials for a grade level, the full-time remote Learning Experience Designer will lead the design and production of engaging, standards-aligned lessons, texts, and assessments for secondary ELA curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the grade-level lead, resolving content and alignment issues while ensuring coherence and consistency across all instructional materials
- Support the development of scopes and sequences, lessons, and assessments that reflect rigorous, scaffolded instruction aligned with state ELA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate feedback and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in secondary ELA curriculum development or instructional design, preferably in educational technology or publishing
- Strong knowledge of secondary ELA pedagogy and state standards, including assessment best practices
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a proven ability to produce polished instructional content
- Comfort and fluency with AI tools for content development
