Learning Mentor

Job Summary

Collaborating with an instructional team, the full-time Learning Mentor will support students in an online environment by serving as a parent liaison, helping to ensure student success, and facilitating interactive team-building activities remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate students across all course studies and assist in personalizing instructional activities
• Maintain communication with students and parents through the learning management system and email
• Participate in faculty meetings, educational conferences, and marketing activities as needed

Required qualifications

• At least 60 college credit hours or equivalent relevant work experience in mentoring/coaching youth
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree and experience with web-conferencing tools
• Strong understanding of virtual education and ability to analyze data for goal setting
• Demonstrated passion for student success and ability to cultivate positive habits in students
• Proficient computer literacy and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
