Learning Systems Technical Lead
Job Summary
Serving as a senior technical advisor, the full-time remote Learning Systems Technical Lead will provide governance and strategic guidance for the FDA's enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) ecosystem, focusing on system optimization, platform integration, and compliance with federal standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead system optimization and platform integration planning for the FDA's LMS ecosystem
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 and SCORM/xAPI standards for training materials and records
- Oversee metadata governance and catalog architecture to support modernization efforts
Required qualifications
- Minimum of eight years of technical experience with enterprise learning technologies or LMS in a Federal or regulated environment
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, instructional technology, or a related technical discipline
- Deep knowledge of LMS architecture, interoperability standards, and metadata taxonomy
- Proven experience in developing Learning Technology Use Case Matrices and migration plans
- Comprehensive understanding of Section 508 accessibility requirements and federal records retention policies
