Leave & Accommodations Specialist

Job Summary

To support employees effectively, the full-time remote Leave & Accommodations Specialist will manage and oversee leave and accommodation processes, ensuring compliance with company policies while engaging empathetically with employees throughout their requests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance on leave cases and accommodations, ensuring adherence to company policies
• Collaborate with managers and HR Business Partners to educate and support employees on leave and disability options
• Act as the subject matter expert on leave programs, maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 2-4 years of benefits-related experience, including 2 years in Disability and Leave Administration
• Expertise in statutory disability plans, short- and long-term disability, and Federal/State leaves of absence
• Experience partnering with external vendors to ensure compliance with documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with HRIS systems
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations affecting employee benefits programs
