Job Summary
A company is looking for a Leave Management Specialist to join their growing Leave of Absence Services team, dedicated to providing excellent service and reliable administration to employers outsourcing their Leave of Absence administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle leave administration for all assigned clients, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with HR and benefits teams, providing education and expert guidance on leave of absence inquiries
- Monitor and identify opportunities for efficiencies within the leave processes, assist with the onboarding of new clients, and provide ad hoc and scheduled reports to clients
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a high volume of Leaves of Absence administration for mid to large size companies across multiple states
- Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations related to leaves including FMLA, state-specific entitlements, USERRA, ADA/ADAAA, and company-specific leave programs
- Experience with benefit administration, payroll, or HRIS reporting systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel
- Experience with AbsenceSoft is a plus, and the ability to speak and write in Spanish is also advantageous
