Job Summary
A company is looking for a Leave & Disability Examiner to secure and analyze information for short-term disability and/or state disability insurance claims, and their concurrent leave claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure and analyze information to make and approve decisions on disability and leave claims
- Develop and execute claim, disability, and leave management strategies
- Provide accurate and appropriate claim information to claimants, policyholders, and other interested parties
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in business, science, or related field
- Two years of general office and customer service experience
- Two years leave, benefits, or disability claim management experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience
