Job Summary
As a subject matter expert on leave policies, the full-time remote Leave Management Specialist will manage employee leaves of absence, coordinate benefits under company policies, and assist with pay-related leave questions and escalations.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee administration of employee leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and company policies
- Manage the full spectrum of leave and accommodation requests, advising employees and management on eligibility and coverage
- Collaborate with HR and benefits teams to address leave-related questions and coordinate leave benefits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 3+ years of experience in human resources, payroll, or benefits administration
- Leave management experience preferred
- Functional knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, USERRA, STD, and LTD
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
