Leave Medical Claim Advisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Leave Medical Claim Advisor (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist associates with Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and American Disability Act (ADA) administration
• Review medical certification forms and make leave approval/denial decisions
• Educate Unit Managers on compliance with leave laws and manage the appeals process for denied claims

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in administering leave of absence
• Working knowledge of FMLA and state regulations related to leave of absence
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
• Experience in consultation and training on disability issues
• Customer service experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
