Job Summary
Focusing on leave of absence processing, the full-time HR Generalist will manage benefits administration and provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Administer leave of absence and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Provide phone coverage for the Employee Service Center, addressing inquiries and triaging calls as needed
- Process employee status changes, benefits billing, and COBRA administration efficiently
Required qualifications
- Two-year AA degree or three years of HR experience without a degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Three years of HR Generalist experience, with a focus on benefits and leave administration
- Knowledge of FMLA, state and local leave laws, and related compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong customer service skills and ability to manage complex issues effectively
