Job Summary
Responsible for the strategic oversight and administration of leave of absence programs, the full-time remote Leave of Absence Manager will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws while leading a team of leave analysts in a multi-state environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on leave laws, ensuring compliant administration across a multi-state workforce
- Oversee the ADA interactive process and coordinate workers' compensation cases with leave and disability programs
- Lead and develop a team of leave analysts, establishing performance expectations and ensuring high-quality case management
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in leave administration within a mid- to large-sized, multi-state organization
- At least 3 years of direct people management experience
- Deep expertise in federal and multi-state leave laws and regulatory compliance
- Experience managing escalated, high-risk, or complex leave cases
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations
