Job Summary

Managing full cycle leave of absence cases remotely, the full-time Leave Specialist will oversee 150+ cases from intake to approval, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws while providing support to managers and employees throughout the process.

Key responsibilities
  • Facilitate the leave of absence process company-wide, conducting individualized leave assessments and resolving issues
  • Process and approve leave transactions in Workday, maintaining accurate documentation in the case management system
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding leave types, eligibility, and transitions
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field
  • Three or more years of experience in an HR generalist or compliance role, specifically in leave of absence processes
  • Demonstrated experience in high volume, complex case management
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state absence laws and regulations
  • Experience with HRIS systems, such as Workday and ServiceNow
