Lecture Agent

Job Summary

Representing and growing speaking opportunities for authors and talent, the full-time remote Lecture Agent will secure and manage engagements, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance authors' platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Secure and manage speaking engagements, lectures, workshops, and event appearances for authors and talent
• Develop and maintain relationships with conference organizers, universities, corporations, and other event partners
• Negotiate speaking fees, contracts, and engagement terms while serving as the primary point of contact for authors regarding opportunities and logistics

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in talent representation, publishing, speaker relations, public relations, events, business development, or a related field
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, talent, and internal stakeholders
• Experience working with authors, speakers, creators, or other talent
• Bachelor's degree
• Familiarity with the publishing, audiobook, media, or education industries
