Legacy Application Support Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting legacy applications in a remote full-time capacity, the Legacy Application Support Engineer will maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance critical desktop and service-based applications while collaborating with business users and technical teams to ensure operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance legacy applications built with VB.NET and SQL Server
• Troubleshoot production issues across interconnected application and operational environments
• Collaborate with end users to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and maintain technical documentation

Required qualifications

• Professional experience supporting and maintaining enterprise applications in production environments
• Hands-on experience with VB.NET and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience supporting Windows Forms desktop applications and Windows services
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git
