Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Professor specializing in Legal and Ethical Issues Strategic Communications.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses within the programmatic core discipline
  • Engage students, provide feedback, and inspire them to achieve course and program outcomes
  • Collaborate with other faculty, Department Chair, and Dean
Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Communications, Media, or related field
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience or relevant professional experience
  • Experience in media law, communication ethics, or legal and ethical issues in communication
  • Strong knowledge of international and US regulations related to copyright, intellectual property, defamation, privacy, freedom of speech, and access to information laws
  • Familiarity with ethical theories and frameworks relevant to communication professionals
