Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Assistant to manage administrative tasks associated with the nonjudicial foreclosure process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, prepare, and format various legal documents including memoranda and correspondence
  • Field calls and correspondence from clients, borrowers, and outside parties while ensuring timely responses
  • Maintain and update the firm's internal case management system and assist attorneys in a high-volume environment
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum associate degree, Paralegal Certificate, or at least 2 years of experience as a legal assistant
  • Default law firm experience is preferred but not required
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with case and document management software
  • Good understanding of the legal process surrounding foreclosure is preferred
  • Experience with reviewing title reports and identifying chain of title issues is preferred
