Job Summary
Providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys, the full-time Legal Assistant - General Liability will manage attorney calendars, prepare legal documents, and assist with case preparation in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
- File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies, and maintain organized client files
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in a legal assistant or administrative support role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
- Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and court systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
