Legal Billing Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Providing foundational support in the Compromised Settlements Unit, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist 1 - Legal Billing will manage patient accounts, assist with subpoenas and statutory attorney requests, and ensure compliance with billing regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assists law firms and internal departments with Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation cases while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
• Processes subpoenas and generates accurate itemized bills under supervision to maintain HIPAA compliance
• Communicates with law firms and patient advocates to resolve routine account issues and supports settlement negotiations as needed

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
• Ability to learn new procedures and adapt to changing priorities
• Skilled in using office software and relevant computer applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interaction
