Legal Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting a critical growth phase, the mostly remote Legal Billing Specialist will manage the complete billing cycle for assigned attorneys, prepare and distribute client invoices, and resolve billing inquiries, with one on-site day per month near Herndon, VA.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the complete billing cycle for assigned attorneys
• Prepare, review, process, and distribute client invoices
• Research and resolve complex billing questions and discrepancies

Required qualifications:

• 1+ year of billing or accounting experience required
• Prior law firm or professional services billing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Elite 3E and electronic billing platforms preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of legal billing processes and accounts receivable
