Job Summary
To support AI training data quality, the full-time temporary Knowledge Expert Coder with J.D. License will guide research teams, develop annotation guidelines, and evaluate data quality while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Guide research teams to improve AI model performance and close knowledge gaps in legal practice
- Create and maintain high-quality annotation guidelines tailored to specific legal sub-domains
- Evaluate and grade the quality of annotations produced by vendors, providing actionable feedback for improvement
Required qualifications
- J.D., LL.B, LL.M, LL.D, or Ph.D. in a law-related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal practice, teaching, or as in-house counsel
- Proficiency in coding, preferably with Python or other popular programming languages
- Experience with AI tools, particularly Claude code
- Strong analytical abilities and experience in quality assurance of legal content
