Legal Counsel

Job Summary

Legal Counsel, a full-time position, is responsible for providing legal advice to the Founders and Senior Leadership Team, managing customer contracting and compliance in regulated sectors, and evolving public-facing policies while ensuring alignment with international requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as primary legal advisor to the Founders and Senior Leadership Team on commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters
• Own and continuously evolve key legal documents such as Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Lead customer negotiations and manage vendor contracting cycles, focusing on data protection and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with strong commercial experience, preferably in-house at a fast-growing international SaaS business
• Experience in an ISO certified environment with practical exposure to SOC 2 implementation
• Proven track record in customer contracting with regulated sectors such as Government and Financial Services
• Strong understanding of privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA
• Experience supporting international operations and entity launches, particularly in the US
