Legal Counsel

Job Summary

As a full-time Legal Counsel working remotely, the successful candidate will manage vendor and client contracts, investment agreements, and compliance matters while ensuring adherence to legal frameworks across Canada, the USA, the UAE, and the EU.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and facilitate vendor and client contracts, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation
• Administer KYC and AML checks and support internal departments on legal matters impacting business operations
• Collaborate with external legal teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and conduct risk analysis of corporate actions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law; additional certifications or specializations are a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a legal counsel role, preferably in a corporate setting
• Expertise in contract law and risk analysis
• Professional familiarity with KYC and AML processes
• Legal experience in the digital marketing industry is a plus
