Job Summary

A company in the Legal industry is looking for a Legal Counsel.

Position Responsibilities:

Provide legal analysis and advice on legal rights, obligations, and privileges of the company and its subsidiaries
Coordinate and advise on legal matters affecting the company
Research legal issues and provide legal analysis to other members of the Law Department or business team

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-approved law school and Missouri law license
At least two years' experience in-house or in private practice in business law or litigation or equivalent experience
Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ethical norms that apply to the business
Experience in corporate secretarial functions, contract drafting and review, and dispute resolution
Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in addressing and analyzing legal issues
