Legal Engineer

Job Summary

To support the modernization of its legal department, the part-time contract Legal Engineer will identify workflow inefficiencies, implement technology-driven solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Legal and Legal Operations teams to identify workflow inefficiencies and implement technology-driven solutions
• Help evaluate, deploy, configure, and optimize AI tools and legal technology platforms across the legal department
• Collaborate closely with IT, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure proper system integrations and compliance standards are established

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in legal operations or a related field
• Proven technical aptitude and systems implementation expertise
• Experience with AI tools and legal technology platforms
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to monitor emerging trends in legal AI and legal operations technology
