Legal Engineer

Job Summary

To support the modernization of its legal department, a part-time contract Legal Engineer will work 20 hours per week remotely, focusing on identifying workflow inefficiencies and implementing technology-driven solutions in collaboration with various teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Legal and Legal Operations teams to identify workflow inefficiencies and implement technology-driven solutions
• Evaluate, deploy, configure, and optimize AI tools and legal technology platforms across the legal department
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure proper system integrations and compliance standards are established

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in legal operations or a related field
• Proven expertise in systems implementation and technology solutions
• Experience with AI-enabled workflows in legal contexts
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Familiarity with emerging trends in legal AI and technology
