Legal Fund Operations Specialist
Job Summary
To support the operational engine of venture funds, the full-time remote Forward Deployed Fund Operator will manage client relationships, handle fund operations including onboarding and deal execution, and ensure compliance with legal documents and processes.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the onboarding process for new LPs and manage KYC requirements efficiently
- Facilitate deal execution by coordinating document collection and ensuring timely signatures and fund transfers
- Provide proactive support to GPs by maintaining status updates and addressing operational challenges as they arise
Required qualifications
- Legal background with a law degree or equivalent legal training, comfortable with transaction documents
- Proven experience in operational roles within startups or venture funds
- Strong ownership mentality with a commitment to responsiveness and closing loops promptly
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with additional language skills in German being a plus
