Legal Fund Operations Specialist
Job Summary
To support the operational engine of venture funds, the full-time remote Forward Deployed Fund Operator will manage client onboarding, capital calls, deal execution, and reporting, leveraging legal training to navigate complex transaction documents.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end operational tasks for a portfolio of venture funds, including KYC processes and deal closings
- Collaborate with GPs and LPs to address inquiries and resolve issues swiftly, ensuring seamless communication and support
- Provide feedback to the engineering team to enhance platform functionality based on client interactions and operational insights
Required qualifications:
- Legal background with a law degree or equivalent legal training, comfortable with transaction documents such as LPAs and subscription agreements
- Proven experience in a fast-paced operational role, demonstrating extreme ownership and responsiveness
- Ability to work with AI tools and leverage technology for enhanced operational efficiency
- Fluent written and spoken English; proficiency in German is a plus
- Location in Eastern Europe, South America, or the Philippines, with availability for substantial overlap with Central European business hours
