Legal Fund Operations Specialist
Job Summary
To support the operational needs of venture funds, the full-time remote Legal Fund Operations Specialist will manage fund operations including onboarding, capital calls, and deal execution, leveraging legal training to navigate complex transaction documents and ensure timely outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the operational engine for a portfolio of venture funds, handling tasks from onboarding to reporting
- Communicate directly with GPs and LPs to resolve KYC issues and facilitate deal closings efficiently
- Provide feedback to the engineering team to improve platform functionality based on field observations
Required qualifications:
- Legal background with a law degree or equivalent legal training, comfortable with transaction documents such as LPAs and subscription agreements
- Experience in operational roles, preferably in startups or venture capital environments
- Demonstrated ability to take extreme ownership and respond promptly to client needs
- Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in German is a plus
- Familiarity with AI tools and a mindset focused on leveraging technology for operational efficiency
