Legal Knowledge Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI-native legal service delivery systems, the full-time remote Legal Knowledge Engineer will translate legal workflows into structured AI-enabled systems, design decision trees and escalation frameworks, and collaborate with attorneys and product teams on process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate legal reasoning, workflows, and procedural requirements into structured AI-enabled systems
• Design decision trees, escalation frameworks, and workflow logic for family law processes
• Collaborate with attorneys and operational teams to identify opportunities for automation and process enhancement

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD), paralegal certification, or equivalent practical legal workflow experience
• 3+ years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, or workflow design
• Strong understanding of legal workflows and operational process design
• Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking abilities
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into structured workflows
