Legal Kurdish Linguist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Kurdish Linguist - U.S. Citizen - Legal translator, editor, or transcriber - 1099 contractors - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform legal translation services for a United States Government client
• Translate, interpret, or transcribe legal content accurately using correct legal and technical terms
• Utilize CAT tools for translation or editing tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience providing professional language services to governmental clients
• Extensive legal language service experience is required
• Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, or a comparable field
• Must be able to use CAT tools, with experience in Trados preferred
• Available during 9-5 EST most days to take on-demand assignments
