Legal Linguist Contractor

Job Summary

A company is looking for Professional Linguists - U.S. Citizens - Legal translators, editors, interpreters, and transcribers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform legal translations for a United States Government client
• Possess knowledge of correct legal and technical terms in English and the target language
• Available during 9-5 EST most days to take on-demand assignments

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience providing professional language services to USG clients preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, or comparable field required
• Must be able to use CAT tools, with experience using Trados preferred
• Advanced proficiency in reading/writing/listening and speaking in English and the target foreign language(s)
• Must be a US Citizen with an active Public Trust or higher clearance
