Legal Operations Analyst

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Legal Operations Analyst will manage the e-billing system and outside counsel relationships while ensuring compliance with billing guidelines in a remote contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate matter and vendor data within the e-billing system and serve as the primary contact for billing inquiries
• Monitor compliance with outside counsel guidelines and assist with onboarding new law firms to the e-billing platform
• Prepare reports on legal spend and outside counsel performance for leadership reviews

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in legal operations, preferably in e-billing and/or vendor management
• Experience with e-billing platforms, specifically SimpleLegal
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools
• Knowledge of legal billing practices
• Excellent relationship management abilities
