Legal Privacy and Compliance Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Privacy and Compliance Senior Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal guidance on day-to-day needs and complexities around data privacy, security, and compliance
• Oversee contract development, review, and negotiation
• Support the maturation and expansion of corporate compliance infrastructure

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of legal experience, with 3+ years leading privacy initiatives
• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar
• Advanced knowledge of data privacy laws, such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
• Experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts in a fast-paced technology company or legal practice
• Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and various advertising technologies
