Legal Promotional Review Consultant

Job Summary

To support the legal aspects of advertising and promotional review for drugs and medical devices, the part-time Legal Promotional Review Consultant will manage the review and approval of promotional materials, provide strategic input for health authority interactions, and lead compliance during Promotional Review Committee meetings while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials, ensuring compliance with legal policies and regulations
• Participate in prioritization discussions for assigned Promotional Review Committees
• Deliver high-quality work products on time and within budget while collaborating with clients and team members

Required qualifications

• A degree in Medical, Science, Marketing, Business, or Communications; an advanced degree and JD are strongly preferred
• 5+ years of related experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a focus on regulatory/legal affairs
• Strong project management experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
• Deep understanding of the advertising/creative development process and regulatory approval for promotional materials
• Experience with social media promotion of prescription drugs in accordance with local regulations
