Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Proofreader (Remote - Contract).

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify the accuracy of audio records and ensure adherence to formatting guidelines for hearing transcripts
• Work collaboratively with a team of proofreaders in a fast-paced environment
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for proofreading assignments

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Typing speed of at least 55 WPM
• Proficient in Microsoft Word 2013 or newer or Office 365
• Access to a Windows-based PC running Windows 10 or 11
• Consistent access to a high-speed internet connection
