Legal Regulatory Affairs Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal & Regulatory Affairs Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and effectively advise, assess, and mitigate legal risks while meeting business objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic management and decision-making on business objectives
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts that align with the company's business objectives, as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree (JD) from an ABA accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 3-5 years in-house counsel experience required
• Experience in insurance industry required, property and casualty (P&C) insurance experience preferred
• Flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities/deadlines
• Familiarity with the developing landscape of privacy and data governance
