Job Summary
To support the firm's attorneys and business professionals, the full-time hybrid Research Analyst will conduct legal and business research, analyze results, and provide clear summaries using advanced research tools while collaborating with the Research & Knowledge Management department.
Key responsibilities
- Independently conduct complex legal and business research, analyze findings, and summarize results for requestors
- Utilize AI-enabled research tools to enhance efficiency, ensuring accuracy by verifying AI-generated outputs against authoritative sources
- Clarify research requests, advise on resource selection, and provide training and guidance on research resources to attorneys and business professionals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution
- 4+ years of law firm research services experience; practical legal experience is a plus
- Proficiency with major legal, business, and financial research platforms, including Westlaw Precision and Lexis+
- Experience using AI-enabled tools in legal or business research, including prompt development and output validation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
