Legal Specialist, Business Counsel

Job Summary

Providing day-to-day legal support to commercial and marketing teams, the full-time remote Legal Specialist, Business Counsel will serve as a business-facing legal professional, assisting with compliance, issue identification, and cross-functional coordination in the Dental Solutions and Health Information Systems sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support by translating legal requirements into practical business guidance for commercial and marketing teams
• Review routine commercial matters, identifying legal risks and escalating issues to lawyers as necessary
• Coordinate with various teams on marketing claims and contracting-related matters to facilitate efficient execution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or a diploma/certification in Paralegal Studies or related discipline, with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience
• At least five years of experience in a legal specialist or senior paralegal role within a corporate or regulatory environment
• Experience in claims review, marketing review, contract administration, or operational legal processes
• Strong judgment in identifying and escalating legal and compliance risks
• Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
