Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Legal Subject Matter Expert, the successful candidate will work remotely to oversee the training and fine-tuning of AI models, ensuring legal accuracy and relevance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop intelligent legal solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal authority during AI model training and fine-tuning, ensuring adherence to legal standards
• Develop knowledge bases and legal taxonomies that reflect multi-jurisdictional standards
• Annotate and validate datasets with specific legal knowledge to enhance model reliability

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) from an accredited law school; active bar membership is a plus
• 10-20 years of experience in the legal sector, including private practice or in-house counsel
• Proven ability to translate complex legal processes into structured logic and data requirements
• Familiarity with legal tech stacks such as CLM or eDiscovery platforms
• Experience with Generative AI concepts and ethical AI practices is a plus
