Job Summary
Seeking 30 experienced legal transcribers, this remote independent contractor position will require professionals to transcribe legal audio files while demonstrating strong grammar, punctuation, and listening skills.
Key responsibilities
- Transcribe legal audio files accurately and efficiently, committing to at least 200 audio minutes per week
- Utilize a Windows-based computer and Microsoft Word for transcription tasks
- Maintain consistent communication and submit timely invoices for weekly payment processing
Required qualifications
- U.S. citizen residing in the United States with a REAL ID or valid U.S. passport
- Minimum of two years of transcription experience with a typing speed of at least 55 words per minute
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to undergo a Public Trust background investigation
- Access to a compatible USB foot pedal and reliable high-speed internet connection
